IPlay Plus ONE, We Play As ONE!
Praise be to God for His wisdom and guidance bestowed upon the leaders of STAY and for the prayers offered. Despite the heavy rain brought by Typhoon Goring the day before, the decision was made to proceed with IPLAY. And by God’s grace, the next day, there was no rain, allowing the youth from different parts of Southern Tagalog to gather at the venue. It was truly a testament to the faithfulness of our Lord.
Nearly 700 young people participated in this remarkable event, IPlay Plus ONE, where we played as ONE, embracing unity in diversity. It was a joyous occasion where the youth came together for a short but meaningful time of fellowship. Even though there were cheerleaders cheering on their respective teams, in the end, they joined hands for one common purpose: to glorify God by bringing one more youth into the kingdom of God.
The spirit of Soli Deo Gloria, to God alone be the glory, was evident throughout the event. It was a beautiful display of young hearts united in their desire to honor and serve the Lord. The power of unity and the passion for sharing the gospel were truly inspiring.
As we reflect on this memorable gathering, let us remember the words of the apostle Paul in Philippians 2:2-3, “Complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” May this spirit of unity and selflessness continue to guide and inspire the youth of Southern Tagalog as they strive to bring glory to God in all they do.
