We are delighted to share with you the news of the installation of Pastor Irilee A. Bugcal in the NECD by DMS Jovito Mijares, Jr. It is always a joyous occasion when a new shepherd is appointed to lead and guide a congregation in their spiritual journey.
The installation of a resident pastor is a significant event in the life of a church community. It marks the beginning of a new chapter, where the pastor assumes the responsibility of shepherding the flock, teaching the Word of God, and providing pastoral care to the congregation. This appointment is a testament to the trust and confidence placed in the new pastor by the leadership of NECD.
As an evangelical church, we believe in the importance of sound biblical teaching and the faithful proclamation of God’s Word. The resident pastor plays a vital role in ensuring that the congregation is grounded in the truth of Scripture and equipped to live out their faith in a world that often opposes biblical values.
DMS Jovito Mijares, Jr., has been entrusted with the task of overseeing the installation process. His leadership and guidance will ensure that the transition is smooth and that the new pastor is welcomed and supported by the church community. DMS Mijares’ experience and wisdom will undoubtedly be a blessing to both the incoming pastor and the congregation.
During the installation service, it is customary to pray for the new pastor, seeking God’s guidance and blessing upon their ministry. The congregation also commits to supporting and encouraging the pastor in their role, recognizing the importance of unity and cooperation within the body of Christ.
As we celebrate this new chapter in the life of NECD, let us remember the words of the apostle Paul in Ephesians 4:11-12, “And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.” May the new resident pastor be a faithful shepherd, equipping and building up the church for the glory of God.
