In loving memory of Lady Minister Jelia Gumba Baylon, a faithful servant of God who dedicated her life to ministry. LM Jelia was born on December 18, 1955, in Malatgao Quezon Palawan. She peacefully passed away on July 31, 2023, after battling a complicated illness.
LM Jelia’s journey in ministry began in 1990 and continued until 2009. During her years of service, she served in various churches, including the Odiong Tribal Church, the Bugon Alliance Church, and the Tagosao Alliance Church. Her last assignment was at the Tagosao Alliance Church, where she poured her heart into sharing the love of Christ with the congregation.
As a devoted student of the Word, LM Jelia pursued her theological education at PBS. Her commitment to learning and growing in her understanding of Scripture equipped her to effectively minister to those she served.
LM Jelia’s life was characterized by her unwavering dedication to the Lord’s work. Despite not having a husband or children, she embraced her role as a single worker in the ministry, devoting herself wholeheartedly to serving God and His people.
LM Jelia’s impact on the lives she touched cannot be overstated. Her compassionate heart, fervent prayers, and faithful teaching will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and selfless service.
